Washington, DC, May 9, 2017— Landscape Architecture Bureau LLC’s [LAB] principal Jonathan Fitch, ASLA, is slated to present a workshop at the DC Design Forum hosted by AIA|DC.

Jon’s workshop will focus on Streetscapes:

The most ubiquitous public spaces in the District are also its least recognizable ones: the streetscapes. Streetscapes are not destinations—we visit them every day. They are the District’s informal and diverse gathering spaces. Also, whether in commercial or residential neighborhoods, our streetscapes hugely influence the impression that the District puts makes on visitors and our self-image as citizens. On a walking tour, we will learn to recognize their components and read their character. Then we’ll reconvene to discuss what we’ve seen and how to make our streetscapes better.
